My job and privilege is to give each individual member my full attention when assisting them with challenging situations that create barriers to their wellbeing. I treat members as individuals with respect and dignity, taking steps towards positive change and improving their life quality. My family-centered and strength-based approach is proudly aligned with the overarching philosophy of the Forever Young program.
Being a social worker is very gratifying to me; I truly love my profession as it allows me to help others. Forever Young provides me with keen insight into the ongoing changes and challenges affecting the senior population, and this sharpens my skills as an onsite advocate for all our members.
I have an extensive working history with all populations and cultural settings – from being a Manager and Housing Assistant, to a Supportive/Intensive care manager, to a Forensic Social Worker, to a supervisor at a preventive program under the ACS umbrella.
I am a hardworking mother of three who is committed to face life challenges, and who models positive behavior at home, at work, and within the community. I am diligent about everything I do and focus on personal priorities of parenthood, professionalism, and serving those in need.
