As Facility Director at Forever Young, I direct all program activities. My objective is not only to provide each client with a safe, warm and entertaining home away from home, but also to help them achieve their wellness goals – both short- and long-term. I thus assist in care coordination with their case managers, medical providers, families, and our staff.
Forever Young is my opportunity to be another’s hero. Knowing that I’m of assistance to clients as they face and learn to cope with their daily challenges is super rewarding. It is absolutely heartwarming to hear them say that I have “come to their rescue”, and that I have taught them valuable life lessons. In truth, though, it is I who learn it all from them.
My previous experiences were in the medical field, with several years of exposure to pediatrics and maternity. While in nursing school, I assisted operations at a private school and then transitioned to managing six fast-paced private hospital departments. I also directed an Adult Day Care in NJ.
I recently joined a small community in NJ that supports local farmers struggling to distribute farm-fresh produce to residents across the tri-state area. I am involved in various charities and fundraising activities that help those less fortunate as well as families affected by tragedies or natural calamities. I also participate in nternational outreach programs that provide free health services to low-income communities.
